Larry Darnell Knight Jr.

Minister Larry Darnell (Manky) Knight, Jr., an Electricians Mate 1st Class with the United States Coast Guard, entered into eternal life with the Lord on Monday, March 25, 2013. Manky was a graduate of Abramson High School. He was the beloved son of Ivory and Larry D. Knight, Sr. He also leaves his wife, Alicia Knight; 2 daughters: Camaria Knight and Iyanna Washington; 3 sisters: Sharone and Shanell Knight and Shaquina McCovery of Mississippi; a dear friend, Carlis Allen; 8 uncles, 7 aunts, 3 nieces, and a host of cousins and friends. Age 33 years. A native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Asia Baptist Church and all neighboring churches and the United States Coast Guard are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Asia Baptist Church, 1400 Sere Street on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
