Murphy James Prevost, Sr. went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 29, 2013. Husband of Lucille Cobb Prevost. Father of Melinda Prevost Lewis, Monte J. (Michele) Prevost, Sr., and Murphy James Prevost, Jr. all of Harvey, La. Son of the late Jules Prevost and Charlotte Burney Prevost. Brother of Eunice Scott of Houston, Tx., also survived by 7 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by 5 brothers, 5 sisters, 4 brothers in law, 5 sisters in law. Age: 75 years a native of Baldwin, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, Dominion & Power Ministries and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Second Zion Baptist Church 6520 Second Zion Ave. Marrero, La. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
