Mildred Parker Waters entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 1, 2013 at the age of 87. Wife of the late Vance Waters, Sr. Mother of Vance (Shelia), Melvin (Louise), Shirley, Tyrone and Jacqueline (Ronald) Dixon. Grandmother of Sherman, Melvin and step grandson, Chicoby. Daughter of the late Cecelia Bell Parker and John Parker. Sister of Eva Hayes, the late Francis Parker, Florence Green, Margaret Rollions, Orelia Anthony, Delores Lee, Viola Bass and Celia Franklin. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Rock of Ages B.C. and all neighboring churches, employees of NAPA Auto Parts, OB/GYN Clinic and University Hospital Cardiology Dept. are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Rev.
