Irma Lee Jones departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Mother of Denise R. Jones and Leslie L. Landry. Daughter of the late Jerry Jones, Sr. and Mable G. Jones. Granddaughter of the late Louvenia Joseph. Sister of Northern, Jerry Jr., Larry, Timothy, Mark, and Jesse Jones, Audrey J. Lewis, Lucille J. Every, and Princess J. Knight and the late Bobby Jones. Aunt of the late Jerry M. Jones and Melvin Lewis, Jr. Great-aunt of the late Ryan Jones and Kent Mayfield. Sister-in-law of the late Melvin Lewis, Sr. and Robin M. Jones. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age 71 years. A native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Gretna, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, La. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
