Deloris Marion Jack Spooner departed this life on Monday, May 20, 2013 at West Jefferson Medical Center at 12:20 p.m. Wife of the late George Spooner. Mother of George Spooner, Jr., Arnold Spooner, Mary Spooner, Lois Spooner, Donna Spooner, Kenneth Spooner, Lori Spooner and the late Joseph Spooner. Daughter of the late Theodore Jack and Maybell Harvey Jack. Sister of Roy Lester Jack, Earvin Jack, Milton Harvey and the late Joseph Travis, Roy Chester Jack and Ora Bell Jack. Niece of the late Dorothy Gros. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age 78 years. A native of Lucy, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA for over 60 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation at the above named parlor from 8:30 a.m. until service time.
