Willie "Bill" "Honey" Ross, Jr., peacefully departed this life at his residence on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the age of 85. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II and a U. S. Merchant Seaman. Beloved husband of Lydia Alcee Ross by second marriage and the late Lucy Noil Ross by first marriage. Loving father of Rosella Ross (Edsell) Brown, Julius and Shentria Alcee and the late Ronnie Allen Ross. Grandfather of Trina Gary and As'Ja Alcee. Son of the late Willie, Sr. and Eliza Santiago Ross. Devoted brother of Eliza (Samuel) Robinson, Bessie Stewart, Rosemarie (Rev. Cornell) Sisler, Lionel (Gloria) Ross, Louis Ross and the late Joyce Britton, Rosemary Riggins, Katie Cravanas, Johnny and Clarence Ross. Son-in-law of Wilbert Lewis and the late Delores Lewis. Brother-in-law of Wilbert, Jr. (Rene), Jason, Darryl, Lance and Dana Lewis; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Baptist Church, Second Nazarine Baptist Church, Asbury U.M.C., Pleasant Zion Baptist Church, First Agape Christian Outreach Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Uptown Graphic, Zeus Security of Ga., Paragon System of Ga., Orleans and Jefferson Parish Schools, Myrtle C.
