Marilyn "Millie" Peterson Adams, a retired Jefferson Parish Drainage Department Office Manager, entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Monday, May 27, 2013 at 10:57a.m. Wife of the late Herman C. Adams, Sr. Mother of K. Dwight (Bernadette) Peterson, Eddie Barnes, Herbert (Shelia) Barnes, Joseph (Lola) Allen, Jr., Brian (Gaynell) Adams, Quincy Adams, Quenton (Janice) Adams, Daphne Adams, Avis A. Adams, Heath Allen, Dameyon Cobble, Mary Ellen (Ronnie) Lowis and the late Herman C. Adams, Jr., Patricia D. Adams Tomas. Daughter of the late Robert C. Peterson, Sr. and Daisy Simmons Peterson Williams. Sister of the late Irma P. Cobbler, also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, cousins, other relative and friends. Age: 79 a native of Gretna, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Life Center Cathedral, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church 1600 Westwood Dr. Marrero, La. on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Elder Terry Gullage, Sr. host pastor / Bishop J.
