Eileen Louise Harris Cain

Eileen (Mom) Louise Cain, a housewife, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at West Jefferson Medical Center at 4:18p.m. Wife of the late Randolph G. Cain. Mother of Arnold J. Cain, Alfred L. Cain, Glendia G. Cain, Cecil J. Cain, Vincent K. Cain, and the late Karen C. Smith. Daughter of the late Handy Harris and Porshe Smith. Granddaughter of the late Sarah Smith. Sister of the late Mary Smith, Martha Battle, and Harold Harris. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 3 great- great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age 94 years. A native of Tuskegee, Al. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Greater Providence Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greater Providence Baptist Church, 623 Newton St., New Orleans, La. on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Vaughn Kelly, Sr. officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, La.
