Cecile Cammon LaSalle entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank, on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 6:00a.m. She was a native of Sellars, LA (Norco) and a resident of Marrero, LA Cecile was a retired teacher with 40 years of service with the Jefferson Parish School System. Beloved wife of the Coolidge LaSalle. Loving mother of Deborah M. LaSalle of Garland, TX, Donald (Linda) LaSalle, Constance (Darrell) Peters and the late Gregory LaSalle, Sr. Daughter of the late Albert and Olethea Cammon. Sister of Albert Cammon, Josie Dennis, Rosa Cheatam, Eunice Lane and the late Addis Washington, Emelda Wright, O'Neal, Charlie and Rufus Cammon. Mother-in-law of Beverly Courseault; also survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 godchild, 2 sisters-in-law, 1 brother-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and all neighboring churches; members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Eastern Star Hope #17, faculty and student of Lincoln and Riverdale High Schools are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11:00a.m. Father Joel Cantones, celebrant Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
