Edward J. McFarland, Sr. was called to his heavenly home on Saturday May 25, 2013. Beloved husband of Joyce McFarland of 60 years. Father of Pastor Pearlean Weather, Christy Faye McFarland, Noreen Matthews and the late George Allen McFarland and Edward McFarland, Sr. Son of the late Harold and Elaine Miller McFarland. Brother of Gwendolyn, Robert, Cora and the late Jacqueline McFarland. Devoted uncle of Marie Walton, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 75 years a native and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Tuesday June 11, 2013 at 9:30a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
