Bobby Wayne "Slim" Battles, Jr. departed this life in Algiers, LA on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Son of Bobby Wayne Battles ,Sr. and Elaine Battles. Brother of Brandon Wayne Battles. Fiance of Michel'le Haynes. Stepdfather of Da'le Haynes. Grandson of the late Mr. Walter Battles, Sr. and Annie Battles and Mr. Fred Wilson, Sr. and Eloise Wilson. He was educated in the New Orleans Public School System and was a laborer with JStar Enterprise. Age 24 years. A native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors officers and members of Bethel Missionary OutReach Ministry and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Bethel Missionary OutReach Ministry, 7605 Westbank Expressway, Suite J, Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Adam Clofer, Sr., officiating.
