Isiah Parker, Jr. was called home on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. Husband of Mattie Terrell Parker. Father of Tammy Sanders. Stepfather of Valinda and Jerome Spottsville. Son of the late Isiah Sr. and Almedia Parker. Brother of Herbert and Herford Parker. Grandfather of the late Miguel Sanders. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 73 years. A native of Vacherie, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mount Zion B.C. and neighboring churches, employees of Jefferson Parish School Board, faculty and staff of Woodmere Elementary are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 12:00p.m. Rev.
