Joyce Brantley White

Joyce A. White, age 60, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 7, 2013 at West Jefferson Medical Center. She was a native of New Orleans, La., a resident of Marrero, La., and a former resident of Barataria, La. Wife of the late Lloyd White, Sr. Loving mother of Lloyd White, Jr. (Patricia), Dwight White (Sherry) and Chiquita White (Thomas) . Daughter of Dorothy Brantley. Sister of Linda (Ellis) Miles, Betty (Wallace) White and Michael Brantley; also survived 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, La. on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Gilbert Barnes, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
