Lionel Marx Geary III, a retired cook, departed this life on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at his residence in Beaufort, South Carolina. He was a graduate of L.B. Landry High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Father of Shonell Geary. Son of the late Theresa Dyer and Lionel Marx Geary, Jr. Brother of Alphonsine Stewart (Lonnie) of Fort Meyers, FL, Lynnette Simeon of Houston, TX and the late Elliotte, Ernest and Raymond Geary. Nephew of Gloria Verret of Houma, LA and Lisha Geary of New Orleans, LA. Also survived by 1 grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age 65 years. A native of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St., Gretna, LA on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
