Marvin Robinson, Jr., departed this life on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 3:43p.m. Loving father of Mikia R. Gumms. Beloved son Marvin Robinson, Sr. and Lenor Marie George. Stepson of Jerome Dorsey, Jamal Robinson and Celeste Robinson. Grandson of the late Cleveland and Lillie Mae George, Virgil, Sr. and Evleanor Robinson. Great-grandson of the late Lillian "Mama Lillie" Mitchell, Jack Brooks and Ruth Lee Cooper. Brother of Chasity Napoleon, Geralyn Robinson-Moore, Tracie Robinson-Hatcher and Fredricka Robinson. Brother in law of Darryl Keiffer, Reginald Moore, Sr. and Alfred Hatcher, III. Godson of Tollette, Sr. and Laura George. Godfather of Dejanae Manuel and Baby Skye; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 29 years a native Harvey, La. and a resident of Algiers, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Greater Zionfield Family Worship Center and all neighboring churches; employees of Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Westwego, La., East Jefferson Medical Center, Metropolitan Gastroenterology Associates and Zatarain's are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greater Zionfield Family Worship Center, 636 Eleventh St. Westwego, La. on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
