Marie Dillon Dexter entered eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Mother of Charles R. Dexter, Glynn M. Dexter, Shirley Cureaux, Cynthia D. Dixon, Nelson Dexter, Jr., Timothy A. Dexter, and Christopher A. Dexter. Daughter of the late Shirley Causey and Timothy Dillon. Stepdaughter of the late McKinley Causey. Sister of Cleo D. McGee and the late Myrtis L. Singleton, and Myrtis Dillon, also survived by 26 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 84 years a native of Tylertown, Ms. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Temple of Praise , Greater Mt. Calvary Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Greater Mt. Calvary Church 1600 Westwood Dr. Marrero, La. on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Elder Terry Gullage, Sr. host pastor / Dr. Beatrice Gardiner officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
