Willie Lee Adams Rankin, a retired Executive Secretary at Xavier University, departed this life on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. A graduate of Lincoln High School, Isaac Delgado Community College and attended Xavier University. Beloved wife of Clarence Rankin, Jr. Mother of Angela T. Rankin-Scott, Darrin Q. (Samira) Rankin and Eric Ricky Rankin. Grandmother of Ethan Rankin, Iain Rankin and Regis Sanders. Daughter of the late Roy P. Adams and Lottie Mae Hunter Adams. Sister of Merna Wilson, Sandralyn Doris, Meredith Mickel, Janice Ruiz, Remona Adams, Freda Hammonds, Royal Hawthorne, Constance Robinson, Terry Hawthorne, Elsie Hawthorne, Elton Hawthorne, Gerome Hawthorne, Ronald Adams and the late Joan Marie George and Charles Hunter Adams. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age 72 years. A native of Monroe, LA and resident of Marrero, LA.
