Alberta Frazier departed this life on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Touro Infirmary. Wife of the late James Frazier, Sr. Mother of James Jr., Clyde (Barbara) and Brenda Frazier. Daughter of the late Elijah Bailey, Sr. and Hattie Ann Grimball Bailey. Sister of Sylvia Jones and the late Elizabeth Baker, Mary, Elijah Jr., Clyde and Bobbie Bailey. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A native of Alexandria, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Alberta was a deaconess of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church; a member of Ideal Missionary Baptist and Educational Association, Inc., Household of Ruth, Isaac and Rebecca and past member of the Eastern Star. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Mt. Moriah B.C., Zion Travelers First B.C., New Beginning B.C., Second New Light B.C., Greater Mount Carmel B. C., Greater Pleasant Green B. C., Second Free Mission B. C., Christian Fellowship Church, Broadway B. C. ,Plymouth Rock B.
