Wilmer Harris, age 60, departed this life on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Canon Hospice. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Husband of the late Diane Harris. Father of Willie Antoine Nash, Willer Calrice Nash and Shawanda Johnson. Son of the late Carrie and Albert Taylor. Brother of Charles Harris, Joyce Dixon James, Brenda Dixon and Charlene Sawyer. Godfather of Xavier Dixon; also survived by 8 sisters-in-law, 6 brothers-in-law, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the above named parlor.
