Louise Scott Riley, age 93, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 12, 2013 at her daughter's home. She was a retired cook and a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved wife of the late Erwin Riley, Sr. Devoted mother of Edwin (Margaret) Walter, Verna Forbes, Stanley (Octavia) Riley, Sr., Brenda Robinson, Michael Riley and stepchildren: Erwin (Betty) Riley, Jr., Alvin and Charles Riley, Sr. Daughter of the late Mose and Ophelia Scott. Sister of Delores and Melvina Scott, Celeste Ruth and preceded in death by 11 siblings. Also survived by 36 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren, 7 great- great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Riley was one of the original founding members of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Highway B.C., Life Center Cathedral, St. Paul B.C. (Gretna), Fischer Community Church, St. Paul MBC (Marrero) and all neighboring churches are invited to attend Funeral Services at Second Highway Baptist Church, 1533 Haydel Dr., Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 10:0 a.m. Rev. Dr. Sherman Smith, Sr., officiating. Visitation from 8:30 a.m. until time of service at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
