John Robert Phillips

John Robert "DO" Phillips, a retired employee of First Lake Properties, departed this life at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Friday, August 2, 2013 at the age of 66. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Beloved son of the late Melvin Phillips and Angeline Arnold Phillips. Loving brother of 2 brothers Joseph Melvin Phillips, Michael Danny Phillips, and 1 sister Elma Louise Phillips Martin; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 10:00am. Rev.
