Vera Harrison Jenkins departed this life at Wynhoven Health Care Center on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Mother of Wanda H. Jackson, Charlene H. (Jesse) Hunter, Charles (Evelyn) Harrison, Jr., and Shelita H. Weber. Daughter of the late Arthur, Sr. and Thelma Richardson. Sister of Arthur Richardson and the late Dorothy Richardson, Lillian Wilson, Elaine Johnson, Ethel Carr, Mildred Henry, Nirma Taylor, and Robert Richardson, also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 75 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Beautiful Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church 1017 Elmira Ave. New Orleans, La. on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11:00a.m. Rev.
