Rever (Momma Rever) Christian Moore, age 91, departed this earthly life on Monday, August 19, 2013 at her residence. Beloved daughter of the late Clarence Christian, Sr. and Selina Allen Christian. Wife of the late Herbert Moore, Sr. Mother of Larry (Maxie) and Kevin Moore and the late Matron Dorsey. Stepmother of Herbert Moore. Adopted mother of Deniece Armand and Myrtle Lee . Sister of Ethel B. Clinton, Neola "Myrtle" Smith and the late Clarence, Jr., Milton, Wallace, and Stanley Christian. Sister- n-law of Alma Christian. Devoted cousin of Parnell Morris whom she loved like a brother, also survived by eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. A native of Westwego, LA. and a resident of Marrero, LA. for over 60 years. Relatives and friends of the family, and members of The Historic True Vine B.C. of Westwego, Morning Star, St. Joseph B.C., St. Paul, Little Zion #3 and Evening Star and neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisiana Department of Justice, Department of the Army, Heart of Hospice, and Jefferson Parish Council on Aging, are invited to attend the Home Going Celebration on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Historic True Vine B.C., 249 Sala Ave., Westwego, LA.
