Cora Lee Baptiste Kelly

Cora Lee Baptiste Kelly entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the age of 88. She was a native and lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Beloved wife of the late Henry John Kelly. Devoted mother of Dwight (Gertrude) and Pastor Vaughn (Vickie) Kelly, Sr., Karen (Walter) Allen, Apostle Pamela (Apostle Timothy) Williams, Kim Kelly (Cedric) Aaron and the late Harlan and Denard Kelly. Daughter of the late Rev. Joseph A. and Ruth Pearl Baptiste. Sister of the late Rosa B. Hoffman, Marguerite B. Watkins, Lillie B. Antoine, Sidney, Othello, James and Olden Baptiste; also survived by 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Greater Providence Baptist Church, St. Luke's Episcopal Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greater Providence Baptist Church, 623 Newton Street, Algiers, LA on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 10:00am Pastor Vaughn Kelly, Sr.-officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00am until service time at the above named church.
