Rev. Dr. Carline Davis, Sr., pastor of Moses Baptist Church of Bridge City, La., entered into eternal rest on Friday September 6, 2013. He was a retired supervisor for Jefferson Parish as public utilities operator. Devoted husband of Mildred S. Davis. Beloved father of Mark (Barbara) Engham, Sean (Kenya) Adams, Michael (Pamela) Brown, Carline, Jr., (Shawn), Natasha, and Deambah Davis. Son of the late Lloyd and Anne Mae Davis. Brother of Donna Marie (Booker) Stamps, Polly A. Arroyo, Timothy (Marcia) Joseph, Donald (Martina), Horace, Sr., and Jesse Mae Davis. Nephew of Wilbert (Gloria) Gray, Sr., also survived by 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 66 years a native of Raceland, La. and a resident of Avondale, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Moses Baptist Church, Rock of Ages Baptist Church, Bethesda House of Prayer and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Home Going Celebration at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd.
