Leroy Raymond, Jr.

Leroy Raymond, Jr., an Entrepreneur, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 13, 2013, at the age of 47. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Leroy was a graduate of O.P. Walker Senior High School and served his country as a sergeant in the United States Army. He was an assistant coach at Edna Karr High School, a former coach with Cutoff Park and a deacon at Changing a Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church. Loving husband of Danita Y. Raymond. Devoted father of Lauren K. and Justin L. Raymond. Son of the late Leroy Raymond, Sr. and Elouise Williams. Stepson of the late Ivory Williams. Brother of Frankie and Trudy Raymond and the late Ronald and Donald Raymond. Son-in-law of Marilyn H. Dixon and the late Roy Dixon, Jr. Brother- in-law of Roy (Tammie) Dixon III, Marilyn E. (Denard) Powell, Kenneth, Howard and Michael Waxter; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Changing a Generation FGBC, Household of Faith Family Worship Church and all neighboring churches.
