Marie Curry Kelly was received by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Beloved wife of the late Ernest D. Kelly, Sr. Loving mother of Ernest D. Kelly, Jr., Paul Kelly, Estelle Williams, Sheila Weary, Janet Young, Timothy Kelly, Sr., Terrence Kelly,Sr., Tracy, Trinetta and Keldrich Kelly and the late Kendrick Kelly. Daughter of the late McKinley Curry and Eva Wells Curry. Granddaughter of the late Jack Wells and Incalla Melchar . Sister of Roosevelt Curry and the late Wade, Paul, Roosevelt and Juanita Curry, Isabelle Pointer, Ethel Mae Salmon and Eva Williams. Sister-in-law of Eddie Bell and Lavera Kelly; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 76 years, a native of Lessley, MS and a longtime resident of Algiers, LA Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Greater Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greater Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1242 Vallette St. Algiers, LA on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 10:00am. Dr. W. L. T. Littleton, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00am until service time at the above named church.
