Mildred Cooper

Mildred Cooper, a retired employee of the New Orleans Parish School Board, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Beloved wife of Calvin Leon Cooper. Loving mother of Joseph Franklin, Gerald Franklin, Christopher Cooper, Barbara Franklin and the late Elaine Catherine Lawson and Maxine Franklin. Stepmother of Calvin Cooper, Jr., Gary Cooper and Gregory Cooper. Grandmother of the late Keith Lawson. Daughter of the late Antoine Williams and Daisy Gibson. Stepdaughter of the late James Gibson. Sister of Joshua Green, Joann Falls and Mary Turner Fiest; also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
