Elmo (Mo & Money) Alcindor, Jr. passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, October 4, 2013. Father of Greer Melacon, Anitra Carter, Terrance (Jackie) Thomas, Ehren and Errol Alcindor. Son of Doretha Paul Jones and the late Elmo Alcindor, Sr. Brother of Anthony, Allen, Clarence (Deidre) and Evelyn Jones, Frances Brown, Stephanie (Edward) Dixion, Sandra (Lloyd) Carter, and the late Rosalie Alcindor, also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends Age: 70 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary B.C., Greater Mount Calvery B.C., and Windsor Village U.M.C. Houston, Tx. and neighboring churches; employees of Yellow Cab Services, Jefferson Parish Public School System, East Jefferson Hospital, and Atlantic Scaffolding are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
