Deshon Omar Evans, a stocker at Lowe's, departed this life on Sunday, October 8, 2013. Loving son of Roy Blake and Doris Evans Blake. Grandson of Cordelia Taylor and Willie Taylor. Brother of Roberts Evan, Jr., Mark Evans, Anthony Evans, Roy Evans, Demetria Gordon, Latoya Briggs, Caroline Evans and Roynicka Evans; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 20 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Franklin Street Church of Christ and all neighboring churches; employees of Lowe's are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Franklin Street Church of Christ, 431 Franklin St. Gretna, LA on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 10:00am Visitation will begin at 8:30am until service time at the above named church.
