Lorraine Johnson was called home by her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. She was employed as a Nurse Tech at University Hospital and a member of the usher board at Second Nazerine Baptist Church. Loving mother of Shawanda Johnson (Antoine) Brooks, Preston Johnson and Nicodemus (Krystal) Johnson. Sister of Leanir (David) Henry, Elouise Cook, Mary Ann (Darrell) Jones, Harold Sanders and Melvin (Viola) Sanders; also survived by 11 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 58 years, a native of New Orleans, LA, a former resident of Washington Parish and resident of Gretna LA Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Nazarine Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of University Hospital, Securitas and Gulf Marines are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Nazarene Baptist Church, 3062 Boyd St. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10:00am Rev.
