Emelda Vincent Redmon was called to her heavenly father's home on Saturday, October 19, 2013 in Los Angeles, Ca. Mother of Kenneth (LaTanja) Calvin. Grandmother of Hassan, Kenneth, Jr., and Jun. Daughter of the late Edward and Minerva Randle Vincent. Sister of Carrie Vincent, Lillian V. (Alvin) Boseman, Calvin (Irma) Vincent, Melvin Vincent, and the late Elton Vincent. Niece of Ethel Randle. Sister- in- law of Veronica Wright, Joyce Johnson, and Patricia D. Vincent. Former wife of the late Arvin Redmon, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends. Age: 80 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Los Angeles, Ca. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, La. on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
