Germaine Inez Mitchell

Germaine Mitchell, a homemaker, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the age of 61. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA for the past 28 years. Beloved wife of Clark Ray Mitchell, Sr. Loving mother of Marvin (Ayanna) Mitchell of Atlanta, GA, Terrance (Sunj) Mitchell, Clark Ray Mitchell, Jr., Corey (Tarrelyn) Mitchell, Tanisha Mitchell, Kawona (Deneil) Girod, Tiaona Mitchell and Bridgette Mitchell Smith. Daughter of Dorothy Robinson and the late Setley Bridges. Sister of Walter, Valerie and Cedric Robinson, Sharon Campbell and Cassandra (the late David) Grillier; also survived by her first grandchild Tawana Mitchell, 22 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Highway Baptist Church, Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Highway Baptist Church, 1533 Haydel Dr. Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 10:00am Pastor/Teacher Rev.
