Calena Williams Lemar, a retired cook and faithful servant was called home by God on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Beloved wife of the late Rev. LeRoy Lemar, Sr. Loving mother of Lionel (Orelia) Lemar, Doris Lemar Gatlin and Leonard Lemar, Sr. of Laplace, LA. Stepmother of Leroy Lemar, Patricia L. Ellis both of Mt. Airy, LA, Lonnie G. (Pam) Lemar of Portland, OR, and the late Leslie J. and Lloyd Lemar. Daughter of the late Alex, Sr. and Pressie Williams. Sister of Rose B. (Brian) Smith of Upper Marlboro, MD and Harry Williams, Sr. Niece of Dorothy Walker; also survived by 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 81 years a native of Vacherie, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, and members of New Zion B.C., New Millennium Community Church of Gretna, LA, Highway B.C. of Vacherie, LA, King Solomon B.C., First Community Antioch B.
