Johnnie (Hicks) Hicks, Jr. entered into eternal rest at Ferncrest Manor Living Center on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Father of Olivia Victorian, Monique Joseph, DeChaun Hicks (Wilbert) Robinson, Lenard Hicks, Chilion (Sjvana) Hicks, and the late John Darryl Hicks. Son of the late Johnnie Sr. and Mabell Hicks. Brother of Alvin (Amelia) Hicks, Metizzi Johnson, Barbara Mason, and the late Robert Hicks and Sylvia Ann Thompson, also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.. Age: 76 years a native of Jackson, Ms. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Greater Hill of Zion Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Greater Hill of Zion Baptist Church 1520 Alvar St. New Orleans, La. on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
