Nelda Hadley Nelson, a retired Food Service Technician for the Archdiocese of New Orleans departed this life at Wynhoven Health Care Center on Monday, November 18, 2013. Mother of Shonda Nelson-(Edward) Riley and Ryan H. (Angel) Nelson. Grandmother of Ethan A. Nelson and Isiah A. Petty. Daughter of the late Benjamin and Ethel Hadley. Sister of Bernell (Beverly) Hadley, Eric B. (Valerie) Hadley, Ethel Lee Edwards, Barbara H. Marsh, Sharon M. Hadley and the late Helen Mealy and Robert Chance. Aunt of the late Rudolph Edwards, Jr., Eric B. Hadley, Jr. and Marcus Davis, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 64 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Baptist Church and neighboring churches; L. B. Landry Class of 1967 are invited to attend the funeral service at Shiloh Baptist Church 723 Magellan St. Gretna, La. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 11:00a.m. Rev.
