Mary Lee Hill

Mary Lee Hill, age 89, peacefully departed this life on Friday, November 29, 2013 at her residence at 4:20p.m. She was native of Jayess, MS. and a resident of New Orleans and Jefferson Parish for many years. Beloved wife of the late Rev. James Hill. Loving mother of Evangelist Jonnie (Pastor Robert) Walker, Pastor James (Evangelist Mary) Pittman, Willie (Linda) Hill, Bobby (Charlean) Hill, Barbara (David) Adams, David Hill, and Eddie (Gloria) Hill. Daughter of the late Hezzie and LaVella Brister. Sister of James Brister of Los Angeles, CA, and the late Johnnie Poole, C. D. May, Joe Quick, Annie Lee Haynes, DeAther Walker, Miles Jacob, and Edith Cowart. Sister-in-law of Margaret Hill, and the late Mary Smith, Emma Mae McCaskill, Mimmie Hill, Johnnie Hill, David Hill, L.V. McCaskill and Bert Smith; also survived by 40 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren, 23 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Little Zion Baptist Church #3 and all neighboring are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Little Zion Baptist Church #3, 441 Wilson Rd.
