Gertrude Farlow Hill entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 13, 2013 at her residence. Beloved wife of 73 years to the late Edward Hill, Sr. Loving and devoted mother of Edward (Espor) Hill, Clara L. Lewis, Arthur (Pamela) Hill, Maxcine (Maurice) Charles, Claude (Georgia) Hill, Sr., Esther (Reginald, Sr.) Walker, Lawrence (Juanita) Hill, Sr., Annette (Raymond) Campbell, Keith (Nona) Hill, Detra Lynn and Reginald (Zebrina) Hill, Sr. and the late Jerry L. Hill. Great grandmother of the late Jarvis Patrick. Daughter of the late Virginia Woods. Sister of Earl (Gelandra) Battle, and the late Florence H. Gooseberry and Willie James Barice. Mother in law of Yvonne (Oscar) Weber, Melinda Hill, Margaret Mays, and the late Stanford Lewis, Sr. Sister in law of Brenda H. Doty, Hersey (Mattie) Hill, Richard (Lillie) Hill, Darren (Daphne) Crockett, Linnester (Bobbie) Crockett, Eula Mae Barice, Mary Lee Wynn, Vashti Bowens, Louanna and Ceedja Hill. Her loving caregiver Montreal Scott. Devoted friend of Odessa Mock, also survived by 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren whom she adored and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 92 years a native of Waterproof, LA. and a resident of Harvey, LA. for the past 37 years. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Dominion and Power Ministries and Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church are invited to attend the funeral service at Dominion and Power Ministries 1525 Lapalco Blvd. Harvey, LA. on Saturday, December 21, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Bishop Jerry J.
