Edward (Eddie) Weatherspoon departed this life peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2013 surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Mary Francis Weatherspoon. Son of the late Albert Weatherspoon, Sr. and Mildred Holden. Brother of Evangelist George Weatherspoon of N.O., La., Albert Weatherspoon, Jr. of Baton Rouge, La., Martha Weatherspoon of Centerville, Ms,. and Minnie (Lee) Clincy of Jackson, Ms., also survived by children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age; 70 years a native of Centerville, Ms. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Cosmopolitan Evangelistic Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the home going celebration at Cosmopolitan Evangelistic Baptist Church 1929 Bienville St. New Orleans, La. on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Elder Andrew P. Amedee', Jr. Officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Providence Park Cemetery-Metairie, La.
