Eula Russell Johnson

Eula Pearl Johnson, age 85, transitioned to her heavenly home on Friday, January 3, 2014. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Beloved wife of the late Robert Johnson, Sr. . Loving mother of Eula (Edward) Holmes, Omega (Robert) Jones, Eliza (Leslie) Longmire, Glendon Berry, Nelson (the late Anne Marie) Berry, Bernell Berry and the late Martha (Leroy) Tolbert, Rose Johnson, Sharlina Johnson and Robert Johnson, Jr. Daughter of the late Nelson and Helen Russell. Sister of the late Mary "Aunt Bae" Randolph; also survived by 28 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Ochsner Hospital for their compassionate care of Ms. Pearl during her stay. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to a Celebration of Life Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Dr. Ronnie A.
