Bruce Edward Hart, a chef at Hotel Monteleone, departed this life on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the age of 42. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Beloved son of Betty J. Joseph and the late Bruce Baker and Leroy Joseph. Brother of Karl Bernard Stevenson, Antionette Hart, Anita Hart Clements and Andrea Joseph. Grandson of Mercedes Hart, Henrietta Batiste, Herbert Baker and the late Herbert Hart, Delores Joseph and Leroy Joseph, Sr. Great-grandson of Edith Ward. Uncle of the late Isreal Clements, III. Nephew of the late Inga Stevenson, and Edward Batiste. Great nephew of the late Gwendolyn Ward. Cousin of the late John Howard, Mildred Hawkins, Mel'Lain Poole and Katonia Young; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Willing Workers Missionary Baptist Church, First Street Peck Wesley United Methodist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Hotel Monteleone and Hilton Riverside are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Willing Workers Missionary Baptist Church, 2715 Washington Ave., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
