Duane Raphael, age 61, a self employed contractor, departed this life on Friday, January 17, 2014. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Loving father of Ulysses Wright and Chastidy Choate. Son of Daniel A. Raphael, Sr. and Anna Belle Davis Raphael. Grandson of Felton and Julia Raphael and Joseph and Nette Davis. Brother of Alan, Danny, Bruce, Craig, Elvin, Floyd, Daniel, Jr., Howard and Ivan Raphael, Jean Cutcher and Sammera Davis; also survived by 1 grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
