Mary Frances Weatherspoon

Mary Frances "Mutt" Weatherspoon departed her life peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the age of 71. Beloved wife of the late Edward Weatherspoon. Daughter of the late Leroy Wilson and Elnora Barnes. Mother of Darryl (Cheryl) Wilson, Bennie and Roslyn Buckley, Cassandra (Samuel) Green, Shelita (Raymond) Nichols, the late Eleanor and Byron Buckley. Sister of Beatrice Crump, Linda (Larry) Valentine, Lionel (Maria) Barnes, Sr., Kenneth Taylor, Ida (Bob) Atkinson, Sr., the late Floyd Sturgis, Mamie Nell Howard, Willie Ruth Wilson, Hezekiah Jr. and Wayne Barnes, also survived by 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Pastors, officers, and members of Cosmopolitan Evangelistic B. C., First Zion B. C., and all other neighboring churches, employees at Paul Solis Elementary School and Bridge City Center for Youth are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA 70072 on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 10:00am.
