Abena Barton departed this life on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Canon Hospice. Beloved mother of Marshall Delaney, Carol (Michael) Duplessis, Constance (Anthony) Brown and and the late Lawrence McWeen, Charles Smith and Cynthia Barton. Daughter of the late Marshall and Alice Warren. Sister of the late Ruth Stansberry, Maude Overstreet and Vivian B. Collins. Niece of Minnie Cheney. Honorary goddaughters of Lois Barnes and Sabrina Dillon. Grandmother of Michael (Amanda), Michelle (Johnas), Marcia (Karen), Terri, Tachel (Jerro), Stephen, Curwin, Sommer, Christopher, De'Shunna, Kristen, Ashley, Christell, Sidney, Terrineka, Sheldon, Nigel and Faith, also survived by 31 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends and committed church family. Age: 85 years a native of Magnolia, Ms. and a resident of Algiers, La.
