Alice Middleton Cowart

Alice Marie Cowart, a retired nurse aide with Charity Hospital departed this life at Bogalusa Medical Center on Friday, January 31, 2014. Wife of the late Shelby Cowart. Mother of Shelby Ann Anders, Eddie Cowart, Jeanne Cowart, Chrysto Cowart, and Chad Cowart. Daughter of the late Cleo Middleton and Allie Jenkins, also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 81 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Bogalusa, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Westwego Church of God In Christ and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Westwego Church of God In Christ 41 Norton St. Westwego, La. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
