Anthony Joseph Reese departed this life on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Our Lady of The Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. Father of Anthony Smith, Denzel Smith, Taniel Harris, Destiny Elder and Anthony Nash. Son of Albertha Reese Tobias and Anthony Smith. Stepson of James Tobias. Brother of James Tobias, Jr., Jasper Tobias and Aurielle Tobias. Grandson of Rufus and Ella Mae Tobias, Jim Smith and the late Ergin and Annie Mae Reese; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 36 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of True Vine Baptist Church, Isrealite Baptist Church, St. Thomas Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Willie Moore of St. Thomas Baptist Church, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
