William (Bernard) James Bernhart, Jr. departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Friday, February, 14, 2014. Beloved husband of Lilly Bernhart. Father of Kawanda, Selena, and Chantrel Bernhart and the late William, III, Chanel, and Cheareal Bernhart. Son of the late Shirley Glasper. Grandson of the late Betsy Hardin. Brother of Rev. Louis E. (Sherryl) Phenix, Jr., Willie Glasper, Jr. and the late Percy Glasper. Nephew of the late Alma Johnson, Elizabeth Medere, and Roselie White. Brother in law of Joyce Ann, Phillis, Kristen, John (Lisa) Washington, and Tyree Lee and the late Donna Lee, Ronnie, and Leonard Washington, and the late Alfred and Elizabeth Washington, also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 70 years a native and resident of Bridge City, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of First King Solomon Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at First Solomon Baptist Church 1200 Plaza Dr. Bridge City, La. on Saturday, February 22, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
