Evelyn Washington Johnson, a homemaker, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Beloved wife of Berry F. Johnson. Loving mother of Connie J. Holliday, Barry M. Johnson, Carolyn J. (Journell) Joseph, and the late Linda A. Sands. Daughter of the late Melvin and Maxine Washington. Sister of the late Eunice Washington. Devoted friend of Alvin and Gail Nicholas; also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 85 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA.
