Joseph Wendell Williams, Sr., a retired Superintendent One for Jefferson Parish Public Works departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 @ 6:35p.m. Husband of Morgorine Williams. Father of Elliot Williams, Joseph Williams, Jackie Edwards. Son of the late Alfred and Beatrice Williams. Brother of Charles Williams, Edward Williams, and the late James Lewis and Thelma White. Son in law of the late Joseph and Celestine Edwards. Brother in law of the late Frank White, also survived by 10 grandchildren , 3 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends Age: 64 years a native of White Castle, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Zion Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at New Zion Baptist Church 1131 Garden Rd.
