Eddie Squire

Eddie Squire, Sr., a retired local truck driver for over 30 years departed this life at his residence on Friday February 21, 2014. Husband of the late Rayma L. Nurse Squire. Father of Cynthia L. Clark, Wandeo A. Squire, Brenda J. Brown, Sandra S. Fisher, Eddie (Kate) Squire, Jr., Randra J. Wright, Laura (Terrance ) Adams and Pearl R. Cardriche whom he affection ally called his daughter and the late Wayne Squire. Son of the late Mark, Sr. and Josephine Johnson Square, Sr. Stepson of the late Julia Taylor Square. Brother of Emma Lee Lewis. Cousin of Isabelle Stanford. Brother in law of Anita and John Joseph. Preceded in death by 4 brothers, also survived by 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 87 years a native of New Roads, La. and a resident of Jefferson, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Holly Grove Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Holly Grove Baptist Church 10754 Milldale Rd. Zachary, La. on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the above named church. Interment: Holly Grove Cemetery-Zachary, La.
